They sure are ugly

But they sure can fly. On my way home Friday after work I saw a bunch on Turkey Vultures cleaning the carcass of a road killed deer so I ran home and got the camera. They are beautiful to watch in the air but real ugly close up.

Spring wildflowers

Took a walk at Al's cabin in central NY and found a few wild flowers in the swamps and woods. There was also a few very ambitious red squirrels that had created some huge piles of pine cone leftovers from extracting the pine nuts.
