Alyss in wonderland!!!

Mandi and Alyss were here for the weekend and I took a few shots of Alyss in her Easter finery. I am totally prejudice but is this kid cute or what!!!
Gotta work on the outdoors stuff, turns out the kid doesn't like nature touching her, made some really weird faces when the grass and mulch touched her feet. We will work on that this summer!!!

Cruisin' CMac

The wind was honkin' and there was standing water in the fields so we were off to CCFL and the parking lot for the performing arts shell. The wind was from the SSE and gusty, changing direction back and forth between S and SE. The direction was not optimal for the parking lot but very doable. I was able to use the grade of the lot to my advantage and coast into the wind to stay near the vehicle and not get to far down wind, then pull back up the hill with good speed runs when the wind peaked. I need to put brakes on the buggy for the downhill runs tho as I wore the heels of my shoes pretty badly dragging my heels to slow down and not over run the kite going down the hill. There is probably five feet of elevation change from one side of the lot to the other. Thanks to Andy for taking the pictures.

Cmac parking

The parking lot at Finger Lakes Community College for the performing arts shell has turned out to be an excellent place to kite buggy now that the ice is gone but the hay fields are still to wet to get out on. I met John and we got a couple hours of expression time on a beautiful warm spring day.
Here are a few pics of John on his land surfer and me with my buggy.

Kite buggys at VCS

It is still a little wet to get out on most of the fields so we were hoping to make use of the upper parking lot at Victor High School. Unfortunately the lots were full with a Lacrosse game and Baseball practice going on so we found a fairly dry soccer field up high in the back and John and I got a couple hours of short runs in changeable winds. Thanks to Andy for taking the pics
